Show.me Case Study
Code.me helped connect properties and people with Show.me by bringing together real estate buyers, sellers, homeowners, agents & brokers, financial specialists, and service providers from around the world to compete and share their listings, knowledge work on a global platform offering the most comprehensive real estate search experience, revolutioning business models, virtual marketplace, blog engine, Q&A, social network, lead management dashboard and so forth: www.show.me. The to-do list included designing the platform’s identity, UX/IA, news aggregator, social networking tools and secured e-commerce interface.
Challenge
Code.me and Show.me wanted to create an environment that fosters interactions and allows real estate professionals, buyers & sellers but also homeowners to share their knowledge and achieve more successful transactions. The site was supposed to encourage user participation and allow content and features management across multiple languages and countries (localization, not translation). Altogether deliverables ranged from strategy, information architecture, user experience design, visual design and custom HTML/CSS development – all as part of a coordinated multi-agency and internal client project team.
Solution
Code.me created a deep user experience taking online real estate to a new level of innovation and simplifying a complex market to millions of users. Code.me worked closely with the Show.me teams but also with dozens of professionals who help us to concept the multiple applications, business process and new market business models, and then bring that brand to life in a user experience that includes the site, advertising, localization, social media presence and a mobile interface.
Result
Show.me is still in Private Beta but the site is already a huge success, far exceeding expectations and benchmarks. The platform incorporates a blog engine, rich-media listings, dynamic user profiles, a resources center, a lead generation system and multiple 2.0 tools which makes Show.me the most complete online real estate solution on the market. Code.me’s staff also managed the QA process for the launch of the Private Beta of the site.
